Check ur CPU temp and other programs are closed in the backround they may cause its to interfere w. ur PC and do a defrag, virus scan and use ccleaner

Are you getting a BSOD or just a hard restart.

        Re: random resetting

a hard restart the screen goes black and then i see my bios screen

well for the temps i was really carefull about the overclocking..... the board makes it really simple but still i have burn in test with speedfan and it ran at full load for 15 mins and the temp peaked at 46C...... i just did a format install because this is a new setup i have only had it for two weeks for virus scans i have trendmicro run a scan every week and the last one came up with nothing also i have counterspy run a scan every day and remove everything it finds as for other programs i have had nothing running with it and sometimes with gamespy running and still restarts my comp for the defrag i just scaned with executive diskeeper and the disk is heavily fragmented so i am running it and i will see what happens thanks i will post back with results.

            Re: random resetting

well my advice from past experience is BF2 is a system hog and it makes your computer get very hot, tahts why u can play CoD/Qauke4 fine, just monitor ur system/CPU temp like mentioned, also take one side or both sides of ur PC case off to allow for more air flow
So in final saying, its because of your computer getting to hot most likely, my comp has a number of trojans/virsues etc.. lol but im running BF2 fine, because ive taken off a side of my PC case*more air flow=cooler PC=no resetting* , because its summer now in Aust. and it gets very hot, like 35'C days, im not sure what that is in Farenhiet but im guessing above 150-220 'F

              Re: random resetting

hmmm did not think to try it without the overclocking will give that a go soon and for the ventalation issues i have this ATRIX case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811209020
so its practically like the side is off anyway

That is a normal score for 06.

So it sounds like either your CPU or ram wasn't stable. I'd try for a little less of an overclock or use a ram divider to see if it's stable.
