    MEGA FPS problem

I was messing around on Mashtuur with some mates and my FPS was maximum at 30FPS and with just walking around I got 28.6. What is the problem?

I'm pretty sure I should be hitting at least 60 non-action. Also, I noticed that after I pressed print screen my FPS rose up to a max of 60 and then a minute later fell back to 30.

I've been going on about this, probably annoying loads of people, for a long time now and after trying many things I decided to post a topic about it.

    Thanks.

Has this been happening since you built your PC?

Er, I forgot how to make your FPS show. Anyone know the console command?
      (sorry for the thread jack)

Your computer looks pretty good, there must be something wrong with the setup/drivers.

i have found that the new drivers can cause deteroirating performance, as in your FPS starts out higher but keeps slowly going down until you get way way lower than you should.

when i reverted to 78.01 it stopped, and stays high now

Your power supply is really small. Consider upgrading that to atleast 550w or 600w PSU.

open up console and type in "renderer.drawfps 1" without quotes

                  Re: MEGA FPS problem

I found that it runs best on the 81.98 drivers over the previous drivers. May be because the new ones have better dual-core support.

Flanker, It has happened since 1.12 but I hadn't checked my FPS before 1.12 so I don't know. Maybe I'll try SP on the original BF2 and see what my FPS is like.

                  Thanks for the replies. :)
