Help - PC overheating?

I just finished my new PC and booted it up.

After a few seconds it beeps incessantly and i assume it is Overheating, so i switched it off.

I can also only seem to hear one fan, wtf?

I have 2 fans on the case, one ice cool fan on the gfx, and the other on the chip.

I have no idea what the problem is. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I would agree that it sounds like overheating (although I am not the computer genius i often think i am).

Open the case and boot it up to see if both fans spin.
then you wont have to rely upon "hearing" the fans.

I dont think it's overheating, ur case speaker won't beep if it's overheating. My guess is that when u built ur comp, u put ur memory in DDR4 instead of the DDR1 slot, check which slot u put ur memory in, and change it if it's in the wrong slot. That's what many people do by accident when they are building their computers.

Was it a nee-naw sound? I know ive got the same mobo as yours and i got the same. I just unplugged the speaker inside and the comp runs fine. I checked my temps and their all normal.

That's not a good idea man, if the case speaker is beeping, than that means something is not right with ur comp. If the temperature of the comp is abnormally high, the speaker won't beep, it only beeps if u have attached the mem in the wrong slot or something like that.

Well the comp runs fine. All temperatures are fine and it runs smoothly. I would like to find out whats causing it though. And ive checked the manual and all my ram is in the right place.

Try plugging the case speaker in again, and see what happens,and what is this 'nee-naw' sound ur talking about?

Its 2 repeating beeps each making a different tone. Not unlike the siren on a ambulance. And yep the speaker is still making it.

Check everything is in place an fans r properly connected, maybe faulty

Only in your case.

Most motherboards, the beeping sound DOES mean that something is wrong, and its usually the temperature. Check the temps through your BIOS as fast as you can. If they're too high, then try and reseat the heatsink or apply some AS5.

The temps are fine. Ive checked with the bios and abitEQ

Maybe you just got a bad mobo. What does the manual says for the beeping?? Did you contact the technical support for the motherboard?
