2nd Hard Drive Need help!..

Ok i just had my 2nd hard drive installed from some guy but hes a professional.
He installed everything great for me coz i can see my hard drive name and all the information about it on the Bios...

Now my probleme is that my 2nd new hard drive that i bought does not appear when i click on My computer should... i open i new drive or something to make it work?? (all i know is that its installed well...but i dont know how i can make it appear as a drive or integrated in my C drive witch i already have...) If anybody can help me it will be much appreciated!

are the jumper placed good on the disc ?? you need to set it to slave, or when you have cable select, bth jumpers (on both hd's) must be on cable select .

Also, take a look in my computer , manage, then disc management , probably he will se the disc there, then folow some steps, you will fiure it out

You need to go to Controlpanel/Administrative tools/Computer management & then click disk management in the tree on the left. See if the drive is listed there & if it is it may need to be made active, right click on it & you should see an option to make it active.

"Professional" as in he does this once in a while? I do it all the time, constantly, own a small computer business that I work besides my normal job. Professionals would make sure the drive is listed, and formatted.

I think he mean't to say was sommeon that knows what hes doing instead of saying he did it himself...
