That's right, a few benchmarks have been released by Hexus covering the new x1900 and even the upcoming 7900 512mb from Nvidia. I just wish they could give us more details, but ATi is keeping this project pretty secret so far.

Re: x1900 Benchmarks
I want a 7900!!!
BTW, when I next upgrade my PC would it be possible for me to keep my 7800 and buy a 7900 GTX 512 to put in SLi. Would that work? BTW, this is for about 1-2 years time...

Re: x1900 Benchmarks
I just look forward to see the cards which can run Battlefield 2 on High with good FPS, like the 7800GT and X1800XL reduce in price. Because new graphics cards makes the olders ones cheaper. In half a year you would run BF2 on High for 250 euro and with 40-80 FPS. That's just what most people need.Comment

I'm pretty sure you have to use the same model number in SLI.Originally posted by uncle_adolphI want a 7900!!!

$1100...Holy ****.
And we all know that 3Dmark05 doesn't mean sh!t, so as a benchmark, its invalid.Comment

I agree that 3Dmark is not very good, but that $1100 is for two X1900 XT's in crossfire....Originally posted by Flanker$1100...Holy ****.
$549 each.

Re: x1900 Benchmarks
Thats the Crossfire Edition of the card. Not 2 cards in Crossfire.
So one card is $1100. Same typical ATi BS.
Why would a better card cost less than the 7800GTX-512MB? That would be ATi heresy. :laugh:Comment

Nope, they have to be the same model number.Originally posted by uncle_adolphI want a 7900!!!

Well that page is confusing at best. Everything that says crossfire is two cards. I can't tell if you are agreeing with me or not.Originally posted by FlankerThats the Crossfire Edition of the card. Not 2 cards in Crossfire.

ATi RADEON X1900 XT 512MB (625MHz VPU / 1450MHz GDDR-3) $549
2 x ATi RADEON X1900 XT 512MB (625MHz VPU / 1450MHz GDDR-3) in crossfire is:
2 x $549 = $1098
A x1900 XT which performs on par with the current 7800 512 is $200 cheaper than the 7800 512. The X1900 XTX which will beat it in performance is $100 cheaper.Comment

I wouldn't trust everything Hexus says anyway, they could be wrong, just like the 7800gs agp thing.Comment

I'd be inclined to think that "?" was about the price because it doesn't list one.Comment

Re: x1900 Benchmarks
I'd think that also, but no one has a 7900 to test which would make me lean toward a projected score and not the price. Where would they be pulling this number from? I guarantee it doesn't score that high with a single card.Originally posted by Neat_HedgehogI'd be inclined to think that "?" was about the price because it doesn't list one.Comment
