Re: new psu HELP!!!
Um, can u give a link to the PSU. ANyways, my PSU has 2 fans, one always spins (intake), and the other only spins when teh PSU gets over like 45C (which never happens) this is for the sake of being quiet, and possibly saving energy (doubt it though). Anyways, that could be the same on urs, if it isn't, go to a real OC forum like www.overclock.net, ask the same question, if they say it should be spinning, then u should RMA it.Originally posted by scrogathonOK so i just bought a new psu and cpu fan, its a ultra psu, and after about ten minutes running time, the fan still hasnt spun up, im getting really scared, im gonna turn this comp off as soon as im finsihed this, and my 12 volt rails still havnet changed from every dan psu ive used, should i be scared about using this psu, please help, im actually about to break down.

Re: new psu HELP!!!
Umm, what does the PSU smell like now? ANyways, what do u mean by 'warm' as in like 110F warm (like how warm ur normal shower is) or like, it's gonna burn ur hand if u put ur hand in front of the PSU fan for like 30 seconds warm. If it is the former, don't worry, all PSUs wll have warm air cming out, if it's the latter, ur in trouble.Originally posted by scrogathonnoone seems to be replying on overclock.net, this is ****ing me off, im scared to use my comp, that im on now, the psu smells really warm, im afraid to try bring up bf2, to see if the fans jst need it to be warmer, should i try a 3d app?
