Re: Sound Settings on Hardware
I just got an Audigy 2 ZS and yes, now I run it on hardware and it sounds more immersive than it did on my plain, crappy Audigy LS...good upgrade in my opinion. The sounds are much clearer.Originally posted by Need_2_Killhow many of you run it on that? is there a big difference? most of my sounds dont work on Hardware settingComment

Re: Sound Settings on Hardware
In your windows sound & audio settings control panel, move the hardware acceleration slider to "Basic acceleration" and/or turn off EAX and/or download the Creative OpenAL beta drivers.Comment

Re: Sound Settings on Hardware
But you WANT the hardware acceleration slider all the way to 'Full' in order to get all of the benefits of hardware mode, surround sound, and EAX.
All you probably had to do was to go into Creative's EAX Console and disable EAX.Comment
