    extra 512mb RAM

    my friend was wondering if it would be worth it for him to upgrade from 512mb to 1gb of RAM. hes on a tight budget.

    his Specs:
    P4 @ 3.4 Ghz
    512mb RAM
    128mb X300 SE

                  yes it would help even though he still cant play at any higher graphics settings with more ram , he will be able to run more programs like aim and firefox and be able to alt tab.

                      Not only that, but the loading times will be reduced and there would be far less stuttering and lag on SP.

                              Get the ram, and see if you can convince him to get a new graphics card.
