ok, so I overclocked my video card to a good point and Im pretty sure Im going to keep it there. But in the event that I start artifacting and such, I want to know something about underclocking it. When I overclocked it, I went up in increments of 5mhz to 10mhz, until I reachd my goal. Each time I moved it up I tested it and such. Well, If my card is at 484/1100, and I wanted to underclock it back to the default of 425/1000, should I go back down in incriments? Or can I just move it ALL THE WAY back down? If I move it all the way back down in one turn, will it affect performance?

Just move it back down to where you want it. The only reason to go up in small increments is so you don't have a lock up. -

1.) You can just take it all the way down.
2.) When overclocking in SLI (Like you really even need to overclock with SLI...) you're limited to the speed of the slowest card, I believe. If you have different clockspeeds you get problems (not 100%, but pretty sure).Comment

ok, so how do you overclock the second card? AND (changing thread name) when overclocking CPU's, do you also have to go up in small incrimints? Like, can you go from 2.0 - 2.2, in one boot up, or should you go 2.0 2.1 2.2? does it matter?Comment

I've never had SLI, so I don't know how to overclock the second one. You'd have to ask someone else about that, lol. Though I'd assume Rivaturner would have some feature for it.
As for overclocking CPUs, yea, you have to go up in increments also. Preferably in increments .05 Ghz (5HTT, or 50Mhz).Comment

When you overclock using two cards in sli, I believe they both are forced to run at the same speed.Comment
