I got my ATI X850XT AGP and it runs bf2 sweet and i run it at ALL HIGH w/ 2x AA and 1024x768 and i only have a AMD Athlon 2800+ and 1.5gb of RAM but tell me what your specs are if you have a X850XT cause i want to know what your average FPS are???)))

Game settings - High, AA - Off, Resolution - 800x600, Lighting - Medium
Game runs perfectly except my ping is always in the hundreds... I have comcast digital cable and have only played a few times where i was in the 60s... Any suggestions to what to do? Thanks.

I have the exact same settings as you do with a X850XT, AMD64 3500+ and 1,5 gigs of RAM and my fps is like 40-90. It keeps bouncing from battle to a long walk. :p
Commodore 64, used a skill saw and cut in an AGP slot on the mobo

im confused, that didnt make any sense.
anyways, with a x850 and a 1.5gig of ram, you should be able to get 4xAA. even with it being AGP and even with the 2800+. anyways, look at my sig, with one card (i keep vsync on) I get an average of 55-85 fps
it caps at 85. when i have vsync on 60fps, its almost always at 60.
cool thanks for the replies and i have it actually at 800x600 with HIGH AA=2x and Draw Scale=%100 but i'll hit lag once in awhile but i try and play in servers with the lowest ping and i also have COMCAST HIGH SPEED so im pretty lucky to run it pretty smooth with only a 2800+ but i might set the clock speeds to Platnium Edition speeds cause i have 540core and 570memory but i'll probably kick the memory up to 590 and i also have a Artic Cooling ATI 5 Rev2. Heatsink and Fan and it's the only reason i can OC the card

I don't know about your ping, but damn man, up those settings. You have a 7800gtx, not a 5200.
