    New System

    I've just ordered a Leadtek 7800GT with a MoBo that supports PCI-e and Socket 478. Unfortunately it only supports up to 2x ram blocks. But that's minor priority right now. I'll buy 2x1GB ram later on. Right now I have 4x512MB ram.

    So I'll be playing with 1GB ram for a month and was wondering how well I can play BF2? My rig in sig...

    Well I play on my rig with med-high, and yours is definetly better than mine so I'd say somewhere aaround there closer to high.

      I have the XFX 7800GT, 1GB of ram, AMD 64 3000+ and I can run everything on high with 4x AA at 1024x768...

          it won't be a problem, only thing is with 1Gb and high settings you will encounter some stuttering in the beginning of the game and longuer loading times

            u can still get 4 gigs if ur mobo supports it. if i remember correctly they make sticks of 2gbs so if ur mobo allows u can still get up to 4gb, if u ever needed it.
