    Hi there

    Hi,

I am relatively new to BF2 and to be honest not really used to pc gaming (or pc's in general!)

I have played a little AvP 2 and Call of Duty but that's it.

So to summarise I am rubbish but have really got hooked since I got the BF2 demo and then the full game.

My mate Myk (ShockWolf on BF2) and I regularly meet up to play at least twice per week but I don't seem to be improving much. My piloting skills are getting better but my aim is shocking! I guess I am still too much of a console player.

Myk uses a Nostromo control thingy and I just use keyboard and mouse with a joystick just for flying.
Any tips on controls and aiming would be appreciated.

Now, I am tempted to get Special Forces but am wondering if it is worth it as I am still a novice at BF2.

What do you guys think? Make the purhase?

Hope to get good enough to play some of you soon!

    Re: Hi there

SF is fun, I'd improve in stock BF2 before getting it though, since SF adds additional hazards like night maps and extra weapons ontop of the standard BF2 experience, definately get it though :)

Play with friends and play more, and you'll get better. You'll learn your strengths and weaknesses.

          Welcome!
