Since BF2 came out I have been running my old faithful gforce fx5800(256ram) with 1.5gig of pc2700 ram and a athlon642800+ 754 all on medium settings with dynamic shadows and lighting on low at 1024xsomething resolution with no problems! I have been amazed at bf2 being playable and smooth with my setup after reading others problems. I am terrified to upset the balance but the new possibilities I think out way it! As I type I have a new evga 7800gt(518), evga SLI edition mobo, a643200+(939), and a 580w power supply steaming my way! I can only hope and pray to the bf2 gods that this thing will tear up BF2 at high settings! Are my setting unusually high for such a crappy card?
