right i ve left my car alone for a tad now and want to soop up my pc my little bro just got a new PC

that one and i was on the phone trying to get him to the same fight i was in to whop his ass (as big bro`s do) and he was getting into the game before i was now i understand his pc in fast but i want to know what i need to upgrade so my pc is a little bit faster
my spec from what i gather goes somthing like this :
P4 (2.8 i think)
80Gb hard drive
512mb ddr ram pc2100 266mhz
and graphics card is ATi radeon 9550

so any way would upgrading the mb ram do the job or do i need to do the processor ive got the graphics set right down to speed and not performance, any ideas guys

So have a better computer than him you would need to buy a new Processor, RAM, Hard Drive, Video Card, MOBO, PSU....

no, i just want the pc to get onto games a bit faster i know i would have to get a new pc if i wanted better than that

and what level do you think i could turn the graphics card up to ?

MOBO is motherboard.

You won't see anything but mostly low settings with that setup.

1GB would help a little, and no you can't use PCI-e.

That computer isn't too bad, it's lacking in the vid card department, and you could build your own for cheaper.

Look on a website where you can get the bits and make it yourself, then you can use bits of your old pc to supplement the new bits and save money for better new bits. Somewhere like www.novatech.co.uk or www.overclockers.co.uk
