Will I eventually get used to 2000DPI?

Yeah, I bought a Razer Copperhead(it was like 30 bucks off at best buy). I've been using a nice 400DPI optical microsoft mouse for a long time. Will I eventually become accustomed to the 2000DPI and the feel of it skating across my new mousepad? I've been keeping it on 1600DPI and 800DPI so far trying to get used to it, but there really is a big difference between 1600 and 2000.


Other than that, it's a great mouse, despite what people say, the side buttons are in a good position, and the scroll wheel is easy to reach. I navigate with my fingers rather than my wrist, and I have large hands, so it's good.

Of course, its like everything the more you use it the better you'll get with it.

Alright, I was just wondering if anyone had a similar experiance, because it was VERY akward for the first few days, heh. I was very inefficient at every activity.

If is really all that uncomfortable don't use that mouse, use your old one, it sounds like you were comfortable with that one.

Nah, it's just a little akward at the moment. I'm willing to spend a week getting used to it. I'm playing and browsing at 1600 now, and eventually I'll move up.

You you configurate the software and make the software acceleration lower, then you won't notice it only have the extra precision of 2000dpi.

thats y I bought the Razer diamondback plasma LE instead of copperhead saved myself 40bucks and it almost looks the same, 1600DPI all i need...
