left/right axis reversed on my joystick?

the left/right axis is reversed on my joystick, so when i move the stick right, i roll left. it really sucks. I cant figure out how to fix it either, it only does this for bf2, never before... Its an old joystick, microsoft sidewinder or something, and i dont need to post my system specs do i?

Did you change it in the settings? Try re-setting it in the Options > Controls

not a whole lot i can do about it...

can i fix this in a .cfg file or something?

so this hasnt happened to anyone before?
because i talked to a few people on some servers, and they had the same problem, but it was fixed when they switched from "primary mode into secondary mode" or something... my joystick doesnt have anything like that =\

do a vice versa , in the roll left box push your joystick right, and Joystick 0
Joystick 0
is normal , i also say getting some drivers for it

tyrant that only worked for my pitch forward and backward.....but not for rolling....id there anything else i can do?

any ideas on where to get the drivers? i have no idea... i got this joystick like... 3-5 years ago =\
never had any troubles w/ it before

EDIT: I have windows sp1, because....y'know...stuff happens in sp2 that kinda... makes some stuff not work (in my experience, atleast)
