    PCI-E card?

so i'm running a amd 64 3500+ with an AGI Xpress 200 series with 1GB ram. Processor runs at about 2.2 GHZ. So, needless to say i'm running the game at damn near minimal settings. What sort of benifits would I get from upgrading to a decent PCI-E video card if any... Any help here would be great since i'm trying to decide whether or not to bother spending the money on a decent card or not.

    Thanks

ok your processer is great, and your ram is too. upgrading your card will definitly let you play at higher settings, because right now your graphics card is limiting you. Getting a card like a 6800, 7800 nvidia series, or an ati x850 or x800 series would boost your performance greatly. With a 6800gs Pci Express you can play at all high settings with your rig. If you need help finding a good card for your price range Me and anyone else would be glad to help you out.

You'll need 2GB of RAM to play on all high settings. If you want just medium settings, get an AGP X800. I had an X800Pro and played on high/med settings before I upgraded. No point in buying a new mobo just for pci-e if you're not going with the top of the line cards.

He already has a PCI-e mobo. Xpress 200 series chipsets are PCI-e only, he' just using integrated graphics now (I would assume).
