Ok, with my new SLi configuration (look at my signature) I can tell a performance increase in the game FEAR definitly. And in doom3, I can soorrtttaa tell. I can run it on ultra with good FPs, but then again, I get decent framerates with a single card, and Ive been to lazy to benchmark with fraps. Now, in Bf2, no matter how many different SLi modes I try out in the drivers, I dont get any performance increase over a single 6800gs. Can anyone who uses SLi help me out? (I looked around SLi zone too, and I want people who actually use it to tell me, not searching for hours on the creators site). Basically, can someone explain to me what each SLi rendering mode is, and what the differences are between each one, etc. Thanks!

Re: for the people with SLi (& coolbits)
Hi m8, i use 2 x 6600gt, in BF2 to get a boost i select 'Alternate Frame Rendering 2' and then in game i can have it all maxed out and it gives me FPS of 50-60 as opposed to a single card giving 30-40. Dont use the Nvidia AA/AF too high as they drop it again but the AF in game can go to x4 without any noticeable affect on framerate.
The different modes are:
Auto select-Does what it says on the tin
Aternate Frame Rendering-Each card takes turns to draw the picture you see
Alternate Frame rendering 2-As for AFR but slightly updated (sometimes works worse than normal AFR)
Single GPU-Exactly as it says on the tin
SLI-Antialiasing-Uses the GPU from the second card to beef up AA/AF to x16 and x32 respectively (looks good on COD2)
Hope that helps.
