      no, as ive only heard of memtest 86, never ran it.

      does enable spd timing have anything to do with changing ram speed?

      id really like to change my ram from 400 mhz to 333 mhz.

        Why do you want to lower the frequency? You're going to take a performance hit. That's pretty dumb, especially since you need all the power you can get for BF2. If you think your memory is going bad, d/l Memtest86 and test your memory. You'll have to burn it to cd and then restart your computer so it boots up with Memtest86. Make sure you only have 1 stick of memory in at a time and let it run for atleast 3-4 hours, perferably 24 hours per stick.

        And whoever told you that single channel is better is a moron.
