soundblaster live

hello all. I just put in a soundblaster live card. However, when playing bf2, the voices are crackling real bad. Everything else works good. Any ideas on what Iam doing wrong ?

try lowing the quality.

its on med. hardware. It was on med/hardware with the MB sound

try updating the drivers and setting it onto software and see if that works!

get the latest SB drivers and patch from soundblaster.com

my boys run BF2 with a live card on medium and it works great..

I had teh same issue. Returned the Live and got an x-fi extreme music. Sounds great!

I have a SB GamersX Live! on my 32bit comp I could play Hardware med EAX & crash occasinally on high it would crash imidiatlly same card on my 64bit with 64bit Windows play on Hardware high EAX no problem & big difference in quality.
