Graphics card help!

My current rig is:

Athlon XP 2800+
EpoX 8RDA mobo
1024mb 2700 ram
128mb 9600XT

I'm currently considering upgrading to a 6600GT 128mb, only £100 now in the UK. My current system runs BF2 okish on low/med settings, frame rate does noticeably drop in some fire fights tho which can often lead to my death . Would this graphics card upgrade result in a big performance increase or not?

That would yeild a good performance increase yes. :)
I seen 6600GT's coming down alot in UK aswell yea.
