    Recommendations for Wireless Router

What is a good router with a good amout of port forwarding options. I currently have a Dlink 624 which works alright but the range isn't that great in my one bedroom apartment. Considering I just bought a 3 bedroom house I think I will need something better with a better range. Is the Dlink gaming router all that its cracked up to be. Or is there a cheaper option...closing cost have me broke

thanks for the help...oh and by the way the wireless is only for the htpc and my fiance's laptop. The gaming rig will always be hardwired.

If you have DSL, I've a Linksys WAG354G combined modem/router. ADSL2 compatible, easy to set up, port forwarding is a breeze, a solid connection, speeds are great and the wireless network connection is very stable.
If you're a cable user, the Linksys WRT54G is also a good performer. I had one and my brother still has one in his house and we've never had a problem.
