Opteron 146 IS BACK!!!

Ok, i just checked newegg and looked at what has hapened to their stockpile of s939 opterons. I was shocked to find that the opteron 146 was back. THe problem is, it costs more than a opteron 148 lol. Anyways, so, really s939 opterons ARN"T being discontinued, eh?

They were never being discontinued. They were supposed to only be sold to OEM system builders for server systems and not the general public.

OH, interesting. THere was a little rumor that all s939 optys were being discontinued because they were starting to be TOO GOOD a deal for normal computerbuyers.
