Omfg Help!!!!

k i was at 3200 venice athalon, 2 gighrtz
with 1 gig of ram (2 x 512)(3200 400)
i added an extra 512 ram (2 x 256)

it made the memory frequency go from 400 to 333.

so i tried to overclock. both.

i over clocked the athalon from 2 gighrtz to 2.1

then overclocked the memory freqency or w/e from 200 to 233.


the monitor went blank. and now nithing shows up on the monitor, ive tried restarting and turning off. i eve took out that 512 ram. nothing stil will appear on the monitor. but i think the comp itself is working perfectly, all the fans are running etc...

I think its time for a =n erase of the cmos, not sure how, but im sure someone does.

yeah you just took your memory out of frequency. You need to reset your Cmos, and don't panic it's a standard thing that happens when you overclock. Nothing is messed up. What is your motherboard brand and model??

unplug, pop out the battery and discharge the power by holding the power button in for a few secs, give it a few mins then put it back/start it up.
