    Having second thoughts on my new pc

    I haven't recieved it yet so I can't test it out.

    -AMD® Athlon-64 3700+
    -eVGA nForce-4 SLI Chipset Dual DDR w/7.1 Sound, Gb LAN, S-ATA Raid, USB 2.0, Dual PCI-E MB
    [PCI-Express 16x] Nvidia Geforce 6800XT 256MB
    2048 MB [512MB X4] DDR-400 PC3200 Memory
    LCD Monitor ViewSonic 17" VA712B TFT LCD Monitor

    I would have gone with a PNY(really cheap) or eVGA 7800GT for the video. But with 2 gig ra, the 6800 should be ok I geuss.

      What's your issue w/ the stuff you picked? It's not the greatest and newest, but hey it's a good rig. I would have gone for a nice 19'' or two 17'' for the extended desktop. Keep your eye's open for deals on a good 19''. I grabbed a Samsung 914v for under $200.00. It's not the greatest monitor but it get's the job done.
