well i cant when u go to alienware.com and config a comp they wont let u choose a better one

but wat about one of the cards not dual will that work

Why are you buying alienware? Build it yourself.

If you must buy alienware have you considered gettting a really cheap PCIexpress card and buying a seperate card from newegg or something?

Alienware is the epitomy of high prices. lol Build it yourself and save about half of what you would have paid them. Heck, I build computers for only $150. You buy the parts and I'll put it together for ya.

Whatever you do don't get 2 6600gts in SLI, it is a total waste. For that much you could get a single 7800gt and completly murder the 6600gts.

If you have to buy from Alienware, get a single better card than a 6600gt...especially 2 of them.

A single 6800gt will exceed the abilities of two 6600gt's in SLI in most cases. You might as well get a single 7800gt or ATI equivalent.
