bought a headset to go with my new comp and to play BF2 and what i wanted to do is kinda do a xbox live kind of setup where i hear all the sound from the game through my speakers but then i hear other peoples voices through my headset and not the game is this possible?

a $20 headset isn't going to be very good anyway. A decent headset at retail would be $50-60. and $40 online.
But, you can use your speakers for sound. And use a mic/headset just for VOIP, but when you talk, there's a good chance of others hearing their voice and game sounds in a loop. Gets really annoying.Comment
