Are you planning on switching motherboard's anytime soon? Cause if you are, I would wait until you can make a full hardware switch and save yourself some money. But if your not, I would recommend X850XT pe or 6800gs/gt. Both are bad*ss cards for AGP. Unfortunately AGP is dying, and will be obsolete in a year's time. The 850xt pe does not offer shader model 3 and the 6800 series does. SM3 is not widely used yet, but in a year every game will possibly use it.

Well I would recommend to you the X850XT pe. Just for the fact that the clock for core and memory are higher than the 6800's. I had a 6800gt and it burned, I was a little disgruntled, so I went with the 850 pro and it was very similar. Then AGP cards started disappearing, so I found the xtpe for 325.00 delivered and took it. I am very pleased with this card, oc's well and everything I run, it's always at high settings with really good FPS. If you want some screens, I'll post........
