friend of mine from another forum just recently put together a beast of a machine, which has caused me to become VERY envious

here is what he said:

Show me where a compnay will ship you a piece of equipment setup to run beyond manufacturers spec and they will fix or replace it for life? Most companies are in business to make money, this one would have to be in business to spend money.

Show me where a compnay will ship you a piece of equipment setup to run beyond manufacturers spec and they will fix or replace it for life? Most companies are in business to make money, this one would have to be in business to spend money.

Show me where it says their warranty is "lifetime" and no, there are alot of expensive items in the world that have crappy warranties or "warranty loopholes"

Eh, it's the same as a nice car. You see a lawyer with a Bently and you're not impressed, but when a rap star who used to live in the ghetto gets one, it's a pimp ride. My first car was a '69 Impala that I **got** restored. I note the word "got" here for a reason. I came into quite a bit of money when I turned 17 (was middle-middle class till that point, low-middle now) and didn't know anything about classic cars, engines, etc. All I knew was what looked/sounded cool and how much it cost. I tried to learn, but no one was jealous of the car because they knew they could have built it themselves for a quarter of what I paid and they'd appreciate it more.

I'm not saying that's the deal with this guy though. I don't know his story. Just saying I'm perfectly happy with my subpar system because I'm having fun building it overtime. Once I get a second/or fulltime job, I'm building a new rig that'll be just as good as that one but it'll take a lot longer for it to be built. Piece by piece, over several months. More fun that way sometimes =P

They do include a lifetime warrantly. I own a BFG 7800 GTX 256mb myself. Although obviously your not going to use it that long and will upgrade to a new card.

I'm not liking that brand of PS. Also, I don't think the new Asus mobo 16x in SLI is not all that when still compared to other SLI mobos. But other than that, good combination.

I agree. There is an expensive system, and then there is stupidity.

I'd get nothing less than a PC Power & Cooling PSU to run all that hardware. Also there is no need for 4Gb of ram or that much HD space. The western Digital 320GB 16mb cache sata 2 drive is beating out all the similar hard drives in it's class.
