Skip the audigy 2 ZS and go with the X-fi Xtreme Music, your ears will thank you. Unless you don't plan on getting good speakers. If you don't plan on getting good speakers then you might as well not get a soundcard and just use the onboard sound on your MOBO,

My advice, lower the CPU and get a better vid card. In other words, go to a 3200+ or a 3500+, then used the saved money to get a 7800GT.

Does anyone use that ram? A good overclocking comes from mulitple factors. CPU, RAM, mobo, and PSU. If you have a crappy PSU that can't give you consistent voltage, you'll get constant crashes. The PSU is one of the most overlooked pieces of hardware when building a computer.
If you RAM can't run much over 200MHz, you'll have to use dividers and sometimes that causes problems. etc etc. For that price of RAM, you can get good DDR-500 that will let you overclock freely.
What do you want? A stock machine or one that overclocks? If you're running at stock specs, what you have should make it. If you want more performance, then you will have to pay for it. That's the way it goes in this hobby. What's that old racing saying? "How fast do you want to go? Well how much money do you have?"

Ya, too many people overlook the PSU. I did with my original rig, i had a 450w psu with a measly 15amps on the +12v rail (yep, u read it right, 15amps on teh +12v rail) that came with my original case (replaced that too), after 1.5 months, it died on me. NOw i have an antec Smartpower 2.0, with dual 12v rails (i think it's like 17 amps on one, and 19 amps on the other). PSU should not be overlooked. ANd i agree, u should get PC4000 (ddr500)ram for overclocking. Most people think that high performance PC3200 is the best, they just have tight timings for good performance WITHOUT overclocking. PC4000 ram is like made to overclock.
