INTEL HYPER THREADING Should it be ON OR OFF for Gaming???

Its been on for me. I will try BF2 with it off and see how it runs. Aquamark 3d 67-65000 ON 63000 OFF. 3Dmark05 5545 ON 5532 OFF?????????????????????

I agree with Aviation. I've run 3 Intel machines with HT and never had a problem with it. So keep it on.

People used to turn it off before Windows drivers were able to handle the HT as another core efficiently. These days leave it on.

Never to turn off HT. It runs slower without it and is just defeating the purpose.
