well.. where do I conect that cable?.. need help

I just bought a GeForce 6600 256mb AGP8x and all is fine but there's only one problem : I actually have an ATI Radeon 9600 256mb.

first, I should unistall the ATI drivers and unplug the card.

then, I plug my new NVidia card on the motherboard but there's another cable in the box and it only says "We recommand you to plug this cable in order to get better perfomances"

Im a newb about computers so where am I suppossed to plug this cable ?

everything else is ok but I just dont know where does this cable go.

    plz help
    thx

just a guess but it might be for extra power from the power supply. look for a 4-pin molex connecter? er.... if not, I don't know. that's what I had to do for my card.

    Crappily done overview:
(Download newest nVidia drivers,) Uninstall ATI stuff, power down PC, remove the old, install the new, power it up and install new drivers.

      1) uninstall radeon drivers.
      2) remove the radeon and put in the 6600.
      3) connect a 4-pin power dongle (also called a molex connector) to the slot on the back edge of the card. IF you can't find one, connect the one in the box. IT is either white or black and has a rectangular shape. IT will only fit in one way.
      4) if the fan on the card is not in, put it in. IT will only go in one way.
      5) boot up the machine and then once windows prompts you the message "found new hardware," click it and then install the cd's drivers. OR you can download them off nvidia's website for the latest ones.

The cable is simply to provide power the card that the AGP slot can't. You need it in order to run it properly, so make sure it is in.
Sorry for the double caps, i got a sticky shift key :)

I got the same Video card its for your power supply. I just connected that cable into another cable coming from my power supply taht runs for the 2 fans I have one the side of the case and from the fans theres a extra plug to connect anything else that might need power so I just connected that cable from the Fan in the Video Card. Just look and try to find that same plug (male&female) pins.

I made a short, low quality video to show you how to do it. It's not that great, but it's my 2 cents worth...

All you have to do is click "FREE" at the bottom, then enter the 3 digit code in the box. IT should work in Firefox. If you don't have firefox you need to get it now.
