i wuld think the xfx wuld be faster because they pre overclock their cards. but if ur on a tight budget go with the evga and overclock urself. but i love xfx

Just get EVGA, there setup program and support is great!

eVGA has a 7800 GT "CO" edition that is clocked 470/1100, copper heaksink and its known to be running neck-to-neck with a stock level 7800GTX. Not bad for 325-400 USD (depending where you are shopping).

eVGA has a 7800 GT "CO" edition that is clocked 470/1100, copper heaksink and its known to be running neck-to-neck with a stock level 7800GTX. Not bad for 325-400 USD (depending where you are shopping).

When he says "CO" edition, he means copper heatsink edition. It's 299.99 on newegg.com, very good graphics card.

i have the xfx 7800gt and im more than happy with it

but i would go evga due to the bigger copper heatsink

The step up program is where you have 90 days (I believe) after you first buy your card to upgrade it to a better evga for the difference in price. For example: You buy a standard 7800gtx for 500 bucks. If you want, you could then get the gtx 512mb edition for $150. You send in your old card, they send you the new one and charge your credit card the $150.

MAN, THAT SUX FOR U (not sarcastic). Really, i feel bad, i mean, over here everything is all is cheap. I couldn't imagine paying 1000 bucks for a 7800GT.
