How do i rank up????

I just joined total bf2 and when i post replies and stuff it says my rank is private...is there like a way to rank up on totalbf2.com or do i have to change it and private is just default????? cause in bf2 my rank is gunnery seargeant

U post and then you gain in rank according to the number of posts
