Hey Guys This is a bit off topic but kinda relates.

What is the best most reliable, and most future compatable (AMDor Intel) motherboard on the market now or that is comming in the next month or 2?

The most reliable mobo's I would recommend would be Asus. As far as future compatible, Asus's new mobo, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131568 the A8n32-SLI Deluxe or DFI's LanParty SLI mobos (they also came out w/ the LanParty Expert, http://us.dfi.com.tw/Product/xx_prod...P%20UT&SITE=NA ). If you were looking for something to future "proof" yourself, I would go w/ any of those two brand mobo's w/ SLI/Crossfire support. You can get a SLI/Crossfire ready card and then purchase one later when you need to, instead of buying the latest and greatest card every few months. As far as CPU, I'd go w/ a AMD Opteron Dual Core (Opty 170), but then again, you need to have a budget, right!?! Plus, you can OC them in the future if you need to.

There is no future proof board since AMD is coming out with a new socket. The 939 boards will last you for a while though.

If you can wait I'd wait for socket M2 in a couple months. Some rumors say even as early as January.

I can wait a couple months but I just hate to buy the first verson of anything. I kind of look at it as buying the first verson of a car.

It will be 940 pin and mostly comprised of dual core CPU's. It will have single core 4000+, 3800+, and 3500+ as well as semprons. The rumored FSB will be 333mhz, and it will use DDR2 667.

Don't confuse it with the server socket F which is 1207 pins.
