NOOOOOOOOOOO, i already planed that if i were to upgrade my CPU on this rig, or buy a new rig i would have an opteron. THey had a short life in s939 (like 3 months). Man this sux, AMD shoulda just done smething like raise the price, i don't care if i pay 250 bucks for a opteron 146, seriously, i pay 250 bucks for a cpu with a 1mb L2 cache, and 2.8ghz OC potential. That's still a great deal. Man i hate how all great things must come to an end.:cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

Ah, that's ok, but i can't buy now, i just finished buying presents for my relatives about 6 days ago. In my savings (money which i may freely use) i have about 135 USD. Plus, my 3200+ is holding up PRETTY well for now. When i feel it's starting to become old tech, i'll upgrade.

I've also heard rumors of the dual core 165 being discontinued, but then again I've heard rumors of all 939 retails opterons being discontinued.
