Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
What is your FSB? Your RAM won't go faster than that, so getting faster ram won't help at all if you CPU doesn't use it. A faster HDD will generally speed up everything, since it's usually the slowest component in a computer.
Like I said in the other thread, 2 GB of DDR333 and 2GB of DDR400 isn't a very big difference at all.
A 7200RPM ATA133 and 7200RPM SATA150 Harddrive is an EVEN SMALLER difference. Either go with a 10,000RPM Hard Drive or a 250GB SATA150 Hard Drive with 16mb cache (250GB Maxtor MaxLine III). Those are the only things that will make an improvement.
Other than that, I also recommend putting the money towards your new system.
It's just kind of one of those, 'I have a few extra bucks to spend and I upgrade my computer at least once a year...so what do I buy' sort of occasions
I'm not expecting anything at all. But since I still have plenty of HDD space left, I figured that I couldn't go wrong with the RAM. It's something I can always use every day.
I simply ordered an X-Fi sound card and was looking at what else was also on sale just because I was already paying for shipping.
I'm starting to believe that one of the main problems around here is that nobody actually reads any of the starting posts, and that they just respond to the thread headline.
