Update- Got my water cooling, needless to say i couldn't wait to install it. Temps so far- Idle 36c. Ive been running Prime 95 for about 2 hours now on lowest fan setting on radiator (silent)-Temp under load 47c. It used to be 59c-61c. Simply amazing.

Is that a kit or custom built set up? If its a kit, which one did you get ? Your case and mods are very similar to mine.

It's the Thermaltake Big Water SE. It's a kit for $100.oo. Every one says dont buy a kit build it yourself. I started getting reviews and this one for beginner to intermediate was a good starting point for me. Never done a WC. I was a little overwhelmed with choices and a built custom could be over $200.00. For the price I paid it was worth every penny. More time consuming, than difficult.

Do you have any closeup pics w/out the bright lights on? its hard to see cuz the lights are so reflective. :laugh: and what was your previous temps when you had the Zalman HS? And what did the kit consist of besides radiator, CPU Block, etc..?

The kit comes with- Hose's, pump, fan/radiator, water block, resevoir tank, and liquid, and mouting for almost any motherboard. Temps WERE 39c-41c idle and 59c-63c load. Now are 35c-37c idle and 48c-49c load. That's with my Prescott, hot little guy.

Seems like an ok kit. but still wary on purchasing kits. how long do you think that Tt pump will last you? I've read that those pumps tend to die out pretty fast.

Comes w/ yr. warranty. Worst case scenario, I put my fan back on. I'll keep you posted. Sometimes, I think, you can have alot of luck with these things. Thermaltake had made some flaws in the first Big Water kit they made some time ago. First was the over-enthusiastic pump, second was the radiator, not very well designed.
They have fixed the pump by keeping the flow rate to a minimum (it still works very well) and minimizing the diameter of the tubing. Then they fixed the radiator by putting in a rather large unit on a 120mm adjustable fan. Also added to to kit was a large reservor for measuring and filling. The whole system took the entire contents of the bottle it came with. Other's in the reviews said the bottle lasted an entire year before they HAD to top it off with more coolant. Remember, this is not supposed to be a high-performance kit, but merely a beginner/intermediate entry into WC with outstanding performance. When i build my next rig, I might go with a build-your-own, but for the money, I am pleasantly surprised. I did expect worse than what I got.

Here is my setup, except mine cools the GPU and CPU. I've had it for about a year with no problems even with OC-ing.

P4 2.8, BFG 6800 GT OC, 2GB RAM, SATA 74GB HDD, FIC 865PE Max II, Kingwin AWC-1, I don't know the case manufacturer, I bought it a local PC store. Temps are very cool, CPU stays around 45 and GPU around 43 when playing BF2 for a few hours.

GPU is OC'd to 410 Mhz on core and 1.10 Ghz on memory.

I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW YOU MAKE YOUR CHORDS DISSAPEAR. My case is a friggin mess, i have power chords and info chords just flying all around the place, its so messy and looks horrible, i dont get where you put are you excess chords!
