Those are cheap. Trust me you MUST get a 5.1 headset you will notice a HUGE differance in sound. I'm using the Steel Pad 5H but they are expensive although sound amazing.

Those Extreme PC gaming headsets from Logitech are crapola. I had one i used for about 2 days.

I'm also looking at a new headset. Think I might get the PC160's or the AudioFX. Both have had good reviews.

it all depends on your situation. if ur like me, its either a stereo headset or mono sound. plus im on a budget due to my age. My advice is to go with the one that is reasonable. Besides if those cheap ones hurt your ears u can always wear a hat underneath

I bought this 5.1 headset here in Canada:

But as I told you in PM, I use a mono USB Xbox Live wireless headset/mic for VOIP and Logitech 5.1 speakers for in-game audio.

But trust me...you don't NEED a 5.1 headset to enjoy the game The plantronics set will do you fine.

Just buy some cheap ones. I bought $10 LG mic+earphones at canadacomputers.com, didn't like the sound but liked the mic so stuck the mic on my $6 earphones, I'm happy as pie. But then, I'm nowhere near as picky as all the audiophiles, and I hate excessive bass.

Although 5.1 sound might be useful in BF2.
