compatibility problems?

I'm considering building a rig from scratch, my current comp is about 5 years old. Right now I got:

Intel Pentium 4, 2657 MHz (20 x 133)
Intel Brookdale-G i845G (motherboard)
512 MB (PC2100 DDR SDRAM)
RADEON X800 Series (256 MB)
Intel 82801DB ICH4 - AC'97 Audio Controller [A-1]
WDC WD1200JB-00CRA1 (111 GB, IDE) (HDD)

So I was wondering if you guys would keep any of this stuff and what would you replace? You'd probably be hard pressed to find a worse sound card than mine, and I know I definitely need some more RAM. Other than that I was just wondering what kind of compatibility problems I have to worry about if I upgrade my mobo and cpu etc. ty

Everything lol. You might as well just get a whole new comptuer. The chipset you're using doesn't support the new Intel P4s, the card is AGP (now being replaced with PCI-Express), the RAM is 2100 whereas all the newer ram is PC3200 or higher, and the sound card, well you said it yourself, its crap. The only thing you should keep is the HD. Those never go out of style.

The card and the HDD should be ok, I would try and upgrade the rest to new stuff.
