I don't get it. What makes you think your card broke instead of a software problem?

      Did it fry, or what?

      Try reinstalling your drivers.

Looks to me like it's simply a driver issue.

Get the latest drivers from www.nvidia.com

At first i thought it was a driver issue but i used like 5 different ones and the all gave me the same results
i just did a clean windows install and still the same, besides everything was fine untill a few days ago..

I firts saw it while playing sf

the game wasnt very smooth so i played around with the settings and all of a sudden i see triangles in textures just like the first pic.
U should see night vision its terrible triangles every where

And i know what u guys think..heat issue right ?
Whell guess again.. im doing 45 c
something is up with that card thats for sure

Funny thing.. quake4 looks absolutly fine..no glitch nothing

Do u guys know if there is a tool out there to test your video card for defects and stuff?
And i dondt mean a benchmarking tool like 3dmark, but something like memtest?

I did a google but there doesnt seem to be much out there

Did you OC a bit too high?

                        Maybe

The drivers that came with the card have a function called DOT [dynamic overclock technology]
Some ati card have a simmulair funtion like the xt versions
I tried those and it boosted my 3dmark from 10485 to 11485
I dindt think i could do any harm as it came with the card's own drivers
Do u think thats what killed it?
I did some reading and found out that by using this i was running at 385 core and 1100 mem.
it should be 350 core and 1000 mem.

Did you try lowering the core and memory since this all happened?

                            Did you just ram your videocard to those specs or did you run an artifact testing OC tool? Those are pretty high overclocks. Check to see how much juice you're feeding your agp/pci slots. It should be 66/33. Some bios will let you do something like 77/44 but you really shouldnt need that. Here's a great bios optimization site. It won't tell you how step by step what to do but it will tell you what most of your settings mean and then you can look up the best setting;

                            http://www.rojakpot.com/default.aspx?location=9

That's a link to the frame so if you have firefox you can do a "find on this page" search for each part. Get to know your bios, it's priceless when it comes to overclocking. I still crash my bios when I overclock (my processor and ram) but by this point I can bring my computer back to life in a couple of minutes. Make sure to keep a 1.44 floppy with your latest bios on it.

                            Good luck.

sorry I had just woken up. I didn't mean to make it sound like 66/33 to 77/44 was more "juice". That's frequency in Hz, not power in volts. Basically you can overclock the slots themselves but I can't imagine why you'd do that. I'm still pretty new to OC though...
