Ok quick question I read in threads about how you should match the rams what do you mean by match them? You mean like brand names? Or timings and if it is timings can I set the timings to match or is it just the way I buy it.

edit: Ok more questions but how do I find out all the information for my ram it came with the computer so do I have to open up my case

Same RAM I have, it's ok, but don't get it if you plan on overclocking. I have to run an insane divider on mine.

As far a matching goes you should try to match Make and same model (Which means same capacity, same timings, etc.)

Thx does anyone know any really good ram in gig range for about 100 dollors maybe a bit more or is that my best bet

Do you plan on overclocking? You you need 1x1GB or 2x512?

Umm don't know how to overclock so I probably won't but I dont care betweem 1 gig or 2x512 whatever performs better tho

Yeah that ram is perfectly fine if you don't plan on overclocking it.

it would depend on whether or not you are hitting the pagefile quite a bit. if you never hit the pagefile, you will not notice it much, if at all.
