Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Zs

Hello all. Right now I have a set of 2.1 Altec Lansing speakers. I plan on getting either 51 or 7.1 in teh future. as of right now, will this card CREATIVE SOUND BLASTER AUDIGY 2 ZSCREATIVE SOUND BLASTER AUDIGY 2 ZS increase performance any way?

It shouldn't, but your sound quality should improve.

funny enough i have 5.1 surround, Sound Blaster 2 Audigy ZS, and Altec Lansing Headphones. If you already run on high, creative eax enabled, in audio settings then no you will not experience any performance enhancements. However word of the wise would be not to blast your 5.1 surrround sound because you will bust your speaker membrane eventually, coming from experience (cough* right rear speaker*) fuzz.however its barely noticable and you only hear it when your speakers are really loud. It is pretty neat though, expeciallty hearing go-karts come around you. BTw i love my heaphones.
