Help me pick a case and PSU.....

Okay guys I'm looking for X-mas gifts and two of them I have thought about was a new case and a new power supply. I have been looking around for a while and I have not really found anything that I like.

Here are the requirements:

Case:
Good amount of space
Great cooling
No door (preferably)
Black or Silver
Side Window

No more than: 22"H, 23"D


PSU:
500+ Watts
Reliable
SLi ready
24pin
Dual 12v Rail
Modular (preferably)

Preferably air cooled unless there is a real steal on a water cooled setup. I considered that PSU but my only hesitation is the price. I know it gets rave reveiws but I can't just bring myself to spending that much on a PSU and an equal amount on a case.

If not that, then consider the Enermax Noisetaker. Good brand/quality at a reasonable price.

You don't need a noisetaker if you're running single core, the WhisperII would be more than enough. The only reason I have one is because they were out of Whisper's and gave me a good deal on the noisetaker.

Don't go modular. In order to get one that puts out power as steady as non-modular you'll end up spending a lot of money. The Enermax Liberty is supposed to be good, but again it's expensive. Stick with non-modular and go with an enermax, antec, or Tagan if you don't want to spend too much money and still get a decent PSU. OCZ is slightly more expensive I find, and PCP&C is the most expensive. You get what you pay for with PSUs though.

yah i wouldn't cheap out on a PS also! either brand, you can't go wrong w/ though.

I'm stupid, I didnt see your comp stats - OCZ's Powerstream 520watt SLI Edition is very damn good and highly recommended; Hiper's Type-R 580watt PSU is also a good choice but hella hard to fine; both PSUs are 130 USD last I check.

For a case, its hard to say what to get. Best that you do "window" shopping. I am personally grabbing Cooler Master's Praetorian 730 black, because it is a simple and stylish case, while maintaining alot of room inside. I'm moving away from flashy cases for personal reasons, but I hope this case might help you - sides, it has plently of mod potentials...

Yah I don't mind modding cases, I usually do some minimal things like stealthing my drivers.

This is when coolermaster had its hayday, it was at its best with THIS case. Its such a great cooling and functional case. Removeable MBoard tray etc etc. I want one but there NO WHERE to be found in the UK. Window, you can mod it, and if you mess it up just buy a premodded one.

Another one of those greats. This case has everything. Need I say more?
Build quality is probably the best you will find in most cases.
