Would Battlefield 2 Run On Intel Pentium M 740 Processor?

As the title says, will the following laptop processor; Intel Pentium M be able to run BF2?

And will this laptop run BF2 on low with no aggro?

Intel Pentium M 740 1.73GHz Processor
533MHz FSB
1024Mb RAM
2Mb Cache
80Gb Hard Drive
Windows XP Media Center 2005
128Mb ATi Mobility Radeon X700 Graphics

So would the processor run BF2, and would the actual system run BF2 smoothly on low?

Yep, i will run, im not sure how well as i dont know Intels M series too well, but it will run, im sure of that :)

And you should eb able run half on med atleast, with ath vid card and that RAM, and the CPU should be able to keep up, but it will run on low easy. :)

Dicky what is that CPU comparable to in either AMD or P4? I dont know the Mobile range well for Intel.

At least, more like med, but hey, just start low and put the setings up one by one till it sarts to lag, then take the last one back down an notch.

850 punds.. umm.. thats about $2150 AUD, n thats not too bad, i dont know any cheap rpc complanies in the UK (as im from Oz :p) but compared to AUS prices its ok, but it sounds like a Dell price, just because it is a bit over the top, if you do a google search, for "custom laptops" and go "From COUNTRY" not from world or whatever, then you should get some local sellers, they should have quite cheap prices and it will give u more of an insite into what the price should be.

Yep Windows XP is a good choice, and usig Windows XP Media Center 2005 is great if your into your music / movies, etc. :)

Yes mce will work fine, and the pentium m is the only decent proc intel makes these days. You should be able to get a mix of low and medium on the x700 also.

The Pentium-M's performance is comparable to those of the Athlon 64s. 1.73Ghz Pentium M = 1.85Ghz Athlon 64.

So basically, you have an Athlon 64 3000+ in that system. Its a pretty nice deal for 850 pounds, being a laptop and all.

Won't make much of a difference though; You have a Radeon X700 in there, bad for gaming.

Thats not a crappy processor. It's actually about equal to a 3Ghz Intel and faster than any Intel or AMD at 1.73Ghz.
