    Got extra ca$h..spend it on?...

Hey, as you guy's can see in my sig all my specs I just got some extra money from work and I want to spend it on a computer part.

I can't decide should I get the Hardrive
    -36g Raptor 10,000rpm
(dont need another 74g...) Coz i heard it make your computer lag less and all that good stuff...

    Or

-1 stick of 1gig ( dunno if i should go with another Kingston 1 or somme good stuff like a corsair pc3200, or OCZ gold there...)

    Or

Creative SOUNDBLASTER X-FI XTREME MUSIC ( dunno if i really need it but i only heard good stuff about it.. and i dont have a sound card only integrated...)

Or if theres something else good on the market in the range of these prices post it right ahead...and please if you pick the 1 gig give me the name of the stick that i should get. thanks.

Not the HD for shure, you won't notice much diference between the 36 and the one you have now, and for actualy letting it work like it's ment to be, you would need to reinstall windows on the 36 one.

RAM will be a big improvement for BF2, a very big improvement!! so I would go for that.

But, the soundcard is also nice, the difirence between the integrated sound quality and the quality of an external soundcard is very big, but it won't give you performance gain!!

Ram, the 36gb raptor is actually a pretty slow drive, the 74gb is waaaaay better. Get the ram.

The HDD wouldn't be worth it to me. And unless you do music creation and other heavy audio stuff, you probably wouldn't need the card much (thinking about getting one myself, since I'm working on video editing and other such things, and all I've got is my onboard AC97)

So yeah, I'll agree with the others and say RAM. More than likely that's going to help you the most.

RAM, go for the ram, but get another 2x512 sticks, and get the same type you had before, that way yopu wont get any issues with compatability, and then you can have Dual Channel running, that will be the biggest help to your system.

You wont need 3GIG for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time.

Trust, just get the 2x512 of the same ram you have now.
