Power supply problem?

i have the Antec SmartPower 2.0 500w and today it restarted, it did a clicking noise once and it restarted right after, all it was doing was getting ready to load the game to click Join...is it my psu or diff problem, it wasnt the first time

Well, judging by your sig, the psu might be getting overloaded, but I really don't think thats the problem.

could the psu be heating?, since it only had one fan on, ive never herd the second fan run

Could be, but that fact that it keeps resetting means it might be overdrawn, it also might explain why your sound level keeps changing, if the audio card isn't getting the same amount of power all the time.

Check if a line of cables isnt being over drawn (ie placing too many devices on a single line of molexes, etc etc). Are you also overclocking? If so, turn it down until the problem is found.

Maybe you also got a dud PSU?

hmm, i have all my fans on a single molex, which is five, ill add anoher molex cable and spred them out

well the sudden psu shut down hasnt happend, but the freeze/lock up, with looping sound in game just did
