I don't know the exact mobo you have, if you look up the model number you have, you still have different versions, look at the folowing link and click your mobo
then click BIOS, and you will see the latest bios version available.
BUT!!! why do you want to upgrade your BIOS ? let me tell you this, if you don't heve problems with it, or you don't ant to uypgrade something what needs an update (sata disc, newer CPU, ...) leave the BIOS, an upgrade is totaly not needed then , a bios upgrade will not give you any perfomance gain or won't even give you extra stability, BIOS is more something, or it works or it doesn't work with your system

i gotta another question... bout ram
i got 512 ram right now, i want to buy an extra stick 512mb(yes i'm cheap)
what is single channel/dual channel mode. which runs bf2 better? how do i do it.. etc

for dual channel you need the exact same ram module, otherwise you could get problems.
but it's your motherboard that has to suport dual channel, if this doesn't suport dual channel, you can't use it.
dual channel only gives you 0.5% gain in games, it's better but only a bit, nowbody can't even notice it

well my first stick was a kinsgton brand. i went to bestbuy and all they had left was PNY brand, so i got it. does it matter? its a PC2700 also but its a DDR333
and if so, how do i configure the dual thingy. go to the bios or something?

If you cant figure out if you have the right BIOS version, please dont even try and go ahead flashing that BIOS by yourself.
Next post, : Umm guys what happens when i turn the power on and nothing happens.
