Re: my video card is not getting enough power??
The most obvious sign that it is dying is when you smell a unusual burning smell. But that's like a couple of days before it really gives out. And my quetion to you, what brand is the PSU, and how many amps are there on the +12v rail (it should say on the PSU itself).Originally posted by murshtwell if my psu is starting to die out when do i know for sure its dying??Comment

Re: my video card is not getting enough power??
Seems ok, as 22a on a +12v rail and 450 watts is should run fine with your 6600GT. Maybe some other component is hogging most of the power, therefore not giving sufficient power to the vid card.Originally posted by murshtthe brand is raid max (came with my case) and there are 22 amps on the +12vComment

Re: my video card is not getting enough power??
yeah, do you have any older PSUs ( you only need a 300w psu for the 6600GT) which you could use to find out if it is the psu that's causing the probs. Also, try putting all settings to medium and see what happens.Originally posted by Sir. MatDefDifferent psu maybe?Comment
