Re: **List of trusted companies**
I can recommend:
Samsung 913N 19" 8ms LCD monitor. A couple of friends have bought one on my recommendation and they love theirs. At £165+VAT at Ebuyer.co.uk, it's great value.
Saitek Eclipse keyboard is arguably the best there is.
Tagan PSU - Several peripherals attached to my PC with 6 USB ports in use, plus a 6800GT and no worries. They've also had good reviews online. For those who like their PC lit up, they also do a blue Neon fan version.
I like my Cooler Master case. System runs cool, it has good airflow and lots of room inside.
For UK and EU people, Ebuyer.co.uk is great place to buy hardware.Comment

Um, GPU heatsinks: Zalman VF-700 series (Aluminum or copper, they are both good).
EDIT: and i just noticed that it became a sticky, i was looking all over for the thread only to find it as a sticky, silly me.Comment

PSU:
These are two other less known top brands in the same league as Fortron. Actually I think Fortron and SParkle are the same company.

Add Vantec to the list of fans, just note that if you get a tornado you better get a controller as well(unless you're deaf).
For thermal gel:
Arctic Silver 5
OCZ Ultra 5+
(they're basicly the same)
For MSI mobos:
I know the Neo2(Platinum, not F) is great for OC'ing if you need an AGP board, from personal experience and general consensus. The only downside is the lack of voltage for your RAM if it needs it(only goes to 2.85v, notice high timings in sig), but that can be solved with a booster or mod. Once you get into PCI-E though the DFI is better, but that doesn't mean the MSI is bad at all.Comment

Re: **List of trusted companies**
Well since this is a thread about trusted companies and not "my favorite products" I suggest you remove the model names and just go with the companies, exactly like what the PSU list is like now.
Also, some people trust some brands, and others don't trust them. It all depends on personal experience (both first-hand, and read-somewhere). For example, from the PSU list alone I could pick out 5 that I believe shouldn't be on that list. By the way, why the hell isn't Forton ("FSP Group" on Newegg) on the PSU list? Its like one of the best, and thats not just my opinion.
Add Acer monitors to the list. I love mine and so does every other person that I've ever recommended one to. NO dead pixels, and the brightest LCD I've ever seen. Also 8ms. All that for $240.
Again, don't choose specific models. People are just posting their favorite products. I haven't even heard of the MX618... Just put Logitech on there and be done with it.Comment
